Accident Summary:
IP WAS DEMONSTRATING A NORMAL AUTOROTATION TO A PILOT DURING CHECKRIDE. THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED TAIL LOW. THE TAIL ROTOR BLADES AND 90 DEGREE GEARBOX SEPARATED FROM THE UH1H. AIRCRAFT SPUN RIGHT AS THE TAIL BOOM WAS SEVERED. MAIN ROTOR BLADES IMPACTED GROUND AND WERE SEPARATED FROM THE AIRCRAFT THEN THE TRANSMISSION WAS THROWN FROM THE AIRCRAFT. UH1H LANDED ON ITS LEFT SIDE AND SLID TO A STOP.\\
